JA of Abilene EVENTS

At JA of Abilene, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

JA Breakfast

JA Breakfast

When: Fall 2019

Time: 7:30 a.m. — 9:00 a.m.

The "JA Breakfast" is an annual event held in the fall semester which allows supporters of Junior Achievement to bring their contacts to consider joining the supportive network of JA in our community. The breakfast is held in a laid-back environment in which we can all learn how to empower the future. 

JA Golf Classic

JA Golf Classic

When: June 28, 2019
Where: Diamondback Golf Club
Time: Registration - 8:00 a.m.; Tee Time - 9:00 a.m.

The 2019 JA Golf Classic - presented by Abilene Regional Medical Center, Atmos Energy, and First Bank Texas - is a golfer's favorite that includes a $100 voucher for a Titleist Mobile Pro Shop, drinks on the course, lunch, high-end raffle items, and several opportunities to take home prizes. 

8:00 a.m. - Registration, Driving Range, and Raffle Board Opens
9:00 p.m. - Tee Time // Raffle Board closes
12:00 p.m. - Lunch is served // Titleist Pro Shop opens

1:00 p.m. - Winners announced // Raffle Items awarded

JA Business Hall of Fame

JA Business Hall of Fame

When: February 28, 2019
Where: Abilene, Texas

Every two years, Junior Achievement of Abilene conducts a formal event to acknowledge and appreciate key leaders in the Abilene community by inducting new laureates into the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame.
Junior Achievement of Abilene looks forward to hosting the Fourth Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame Dinner in the spring of 2019.
