JA More than Money

JA More than Money teaches about earning, spending, sharing, and saving money.  Students learn about businesses they can start or jobs they can perform to earn money. There are six required, after-school, volunteer-led sessions. JA More than Money is recommended for grades three-five.

JA More than Money will meet the after-school programming needs of a diverse group of students by providing engaging, academically enriching, and experiential learning sessions in economic education.

JA It's My Business

JA It's My Business! encompasses entrepreneurship curriculum for students in grades six, seven, and eight. The program emphasizes entrepreneurship while providing a strong focus on social studies, reading, and writing skills. Students are encouraged to use critical thinking to learn entrepreneurial skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations.

JA Company Program

JA Company Program encompasses business, entrepreneurship, and economics curriculum for students in grades nine-twelve. The program emphasizes business content, while providing a strong focus on social studies, mathematics, reading, and writing skills. The JA Company Program experience enhances students' classroom curriculum. Students are encouraged to use innovative thinking to learn business skills that support positive attitudes as they explore and enhance their career aspirations.

With the support and guidance of volunteer consultants from the local business community, the JA Company Program provides basic economic education for high school students. By organizing and operating an actual business enterprise, students not only learn how businesses function, they also learn about the structure of the U.S. free enterprise system and the benefits it provides. Each JA Company Program kit contains a plethora of resources, including a handbook for teachers and volunteers.

JA Company Program helps young people appreciate and better understand the role of business in our society.
