Junior Achievement USA/UPS Foundation
JA Be Entrepreneurial 2015
UPS employees volunteered at Jennings High School from Friday, October 16 through Thursday, October 29 presenting the JA Be Entrepreneurial program to Mr. Greg Almus' high school students enrolled in his Business Education course.
Following are testimonials from a student and teacher, business education teacher Greg Almus-
"Having Junior Achievement come to Jennings High School has been a great experience for me; the volunteers helped me expand my vocabulary and my knowledge about entrepreneurship. The fundamental key elements that they taught us will not only help me in entrepreneurship but also in other careers such as engineering, marketing management, and starting my own company or business. Before JA came to Jennings I was unware of how to start a small business, and how ethical responsibility played a significant role in maintaining one as well. Now, after the sessions of JA, I know three different product development sources and solutions that entrepreneurs may encounter. The Junior Achievement volunteers were very kind, thoughtful, and respectful. I would enjoy them again if they were to come back to Jennings to teach again. The entrepreneurship sessions were very helpful and I will now, always use these skills and tools in my everyday life."

"One thing I love to do for my students is to have JA come in and work with them. It gives them relevance to what we are studying with presenters who actually work in the business world. These real world examples help them with the application of the lessons. This time the speakers from UPS were some of the best we have had in the four years we have been doing the "JA Be Entrepreneurial Program here at Jennings."
