covid-19: junior achievement update
President Lori McCleese shares program updates
We are incredibly grateful for our corporate, community and school partners who make programming come to life in students' minds and lives.
JA of North Central Ohio is taking the current COVID-19 outbreak and its impact on our volunteer and school partners very seriously. Your health is important to us, and we strive to ensure the safety of our volunteers, educators and students. We are monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Ohio Department of Health, and the Ohio Department of Education. In addition, we have been working closely with our national office to establish best practices ensuring as few disruptions as possible to JA programming.
It is important that volunteers be in contact with school partners to determine current visitor policies as this is likely to affect JA programming in process or scheduled in the coming weeks. Additionally, we ask that volunteers and/or school partners take a few minutes to connect with your JA representative to learn the flexible options available to deliver JA programs in light of this developing situation.
Our first priority will always be the health and safety of everyone involved in the work we do. Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this challenging time.
