Bowling enthusiasts and beginners alike will join Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida on August 29 for the sixth annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraising event, taking place 6 to 8:30 p.m. at HeadPinz Entertainment Center in Fort Myers. Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Bowl-A-Thon event provides a fun-filled opportunity for businesses, colleagues, neighbors, and friends to come together for team building and friendly competition. Participants are challenged to meet a fundraising goal of $750 for a team of six players, and each team member will receive a team shirt, food, beverage, two adult beverages, shoes and lane rental. Event proceeds help JA provide work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy programs to more than 11,000 local students.
Known for its state-of-the-art bowling, game zone and more, HeadPinz Entertainment Center will once again serve as the host of the 2018 event. Beyond team fundraising challenges, sponsorship opportunities are available for a Title Sponsor ($3,000), Gold Sponsor ($2,000) and Silver Sponsor ($1,000). Proceeds from the Bowl-A-Thon will be used to provide work readiness programs, entrepreneurship guidance and financial literacy programs to more than 11,000 area students.
