About Our Office

Since 1950, Junior Achievement of Northern California's mission has been to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

Junior Achievement (JA) is the region's largest and fastest growing organization dedicated to educating young people about financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship. Through age-appropriate curricula, our programs begin at the elementary school level, teaching children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers, and consumers. JA programs continue through the middle and high school grades, preparing students for additional key economic and workforce issues they will face in the future.

In the most recent 2015-16 school year, we inspired and prepared over 90,000 young people to build an entrepreneurial mindset, develop financial and workplace skills, and begin their journey on the path toward financial capability and success.

Volunteer role models from our business partners and community taught over 3,500 classes and provided more than 600,000 instructional hours.
