Special Events

Our special events are a true JA tradition. Bringing together friends and family from all over the area, our events provide fun outings that support a fantastic local cause. From individuals to corporate teams, anyone can be involved in a JA event.  For more information regarding any of our events, please contact Sunny Brous.

Starr Hollow Shootout

Interested in playing a round of golf at an exclusive golf course outside Fort Worth? Bring a team of four and join us September 22, 2017 for a relaxing, enjoyable day of golf at Starr Hollow Golf Club in Tolar, TX. This famous course sits in the middle of a 3,000 acre ranch owned by the Leonard family. Marvin Leonard, Colonial Country Club founder built the course primarily for his friends and a few area ranchers. It is a true privilege to play on this course. Foursomes will raise a minimum of $3,000 by securing donations and pledges from friends, family, co-workers, vendors, etc. All proceeds from the Starr Hollow Shootout will benefit Junior Achievement's business education programs. In addition, lunch will be provided as well as gifts and door prizes throughout the day.
