About Our Office
Since opening the Pueblo office in 1981, Junior Achievement's purpose has been to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise and understand business and economics to improve the quality of their lives.
Junior Achievement is a volunteer driven, non-profit, educational organization. These volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic. Providing children of all ages with positive adult role models who discuss their own paths to developing self-confidence, effective workforce skills and earning career success in our free enterprise system, is a hallmark of Junior Achievement.
Junior Achievement offers 19 kindergarten through 12th grade sequential, integrated education programs which are correlated to Colorado State Standards and reinforce 21st Century Skills. The counties in our service area include: Baca, Bent, Crowley, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, Prowers and Pueblo.
