This year, JACF's highly effective programs benefitted 50,000 students in grades K-12 throughout Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties. Your participation in our events makes it possible to offer these programs to our schools at no cost!
In November, JACF will hold the prestigious Mid-Florida Business Hall of Fame dinner to honor those prominent business persons who have made extraordinary contributions of leadership to their community and to call attention to the Free Enterprise System and its value to our country and people in shaping our way of life. The highlight of the evening is that Junior Achievement students serve as the emcee for the evening and present the newly inducted members of the Hall of Fame and the Spirit of Achievement.
From January through June, JACF welcomes over 6,000 participants from nearly 80 local companies who support JA at our signature event, the Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon. Through the JA Bowl-A-Thon companies come together for a fun social outing and teambuilding opportunity while raising money for students in our community.
Our 4th Annual 4.01K Race for Financial Fitness kicks off Financial Literacy month. The event is sponsored by local companies, who send runners to compete in the 4.01K race. Vendors and sponsors are able to distribute materials that help runners understand their financial options and give more insight into financial planning. The event starts at 8:30 AM, April 28, 2018.
Every year during April, Fogo de Chao invites friends and supporters of Junior Achievement to dine in honor of Financial Literacy Month. Special JA Dinner packages are reserved in advance for the entire party, and 100% of the local proceeds benefit JACF.
There are many opportunities to participate, volunteer or be a corporate sponsor for a special event. Call the JA office at 407-898-2121 for more information.
