The program is aligned to meet Ohio State Financial Literacy requirements (Amended Senate Bill 311) and will also include a Career Connections with local employers needing to fill entry level jobs in our community.

The goal of the day is to build personal money management skills, inspire students to set and achieve goals, and help students connect the relevancy of what they are learning in school to the real world of work to improve local graduation rates.

Thank you to our 2017 Local business volunteers from AXA Advisors, CPA Growth Guides, DecisionPoint Consulting, Diebold-Nixdorft, Edward Jones, First Commonwealth Bank, Garner Financial Services – State Farm, Gervasi Vineyards, Krugliak, Wilkins, Griffiths, Daughtery, LPA, Site 14 Marketing, and Walmart along with 40 Walsh University Business Club student volunteers helped high school juniors develop life skills to manage their personal finances and choose career pathways that match their skills, values and interests.
