Junior Achievement is dedicated to partnering with educators to enhance your school's current curriculum. Our programs empower participants to develop learning and innovation skills so that they can prepare for increasingly complex life and work environments.
As a JA Teacher, I will:
- Contact my volunteer as soon as i am notified to set up a schedule of visits, regardless of when the class will actually begin.
- Return phone calls and/or emails from my JA volunteer. Have my students prepare and ready for the volunteer's visit and create a positive learning environment.
- Remain in the classroom at all times, maintaining discipline of my students and creating a respectful environment for the volunteer.
- Let the JA staff know of any scheduling conflicts immediately. (Completion of the program is key to ensuring continued funding for JA! We can't help you, if we don;t know there is a problem.)
