Junior Achievement of Arkansas Awards Luncheon & Annual Fund Raiser Held Today

Little Rock, Ark

One individual and one company were recognized at the annual Junior Achievement (JA) Legacy Award Business Luncheon today. Awards are presented in appreciation of the support businesses provide in delivering kindergarten through 12th grade programs at public and private schools. The event raised $106,000 to fund JA programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills.

Angele Forrest Hired as President of Junior Achievement of Arkansas

Little Rock, AR  -  Sept. 27, 2017

Little Rock-based nonprofit Junior Achievement of Arkansas has hired Angele Forrest as its new president. Forrest will manage the work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs that currently reach more than 14,000 K-12 students in the state.

Forrest, according to a news release, has more than 20 years in the financial services industry with focus on marketing, public and community relations. During the last two years, she held a leadership role in new product-to-market business solutions with Euronet Software.
