Impact your college experience with a dynamic and skill-building internship. Junior Achievement Big Bend offers part time internships to dedicated upper-class or graduate students in the Tallahassee area. To apply, please submit an up-to-date, professional resume, cover letter, and writing sample (if applicable) to elyse@jabigbend.org.

An intern at JA Big Bend will walk away with a working knowledge of how a non-profit program operates as a business and its relationship with the community. We take a team approach in our office, and interns have the opportunity to attend board meetings, learn about various job functions related to running a non-profit organization, and develop skill sets that will be beneficial for future employment. Since we are a non-profit organization, the internships are unpaid. Course credit may apply based on student's degree and course credit requirements. Upon completion of the internship, a letter of recommendation and/or professional reference could be received.

Communications/Marketing Intern:

Will work closely with the Development & Communications Directorwith marketing and communications to help build community awareness of JA Big Bend. Help design marketing materials, social media campaigns, and drafting communications pieces such as media advisories and press releases. Interns may also have responsibilities with special events depending on the time of internship: Golf Tournament, Raffle, and Shark Bowl.
