About JA of Camden/Wilcox County

Junior Achievement of Camden/Wilcox County has reached 11,143 students in 546 classrooms since 1993. Reaching over 160 K-12 students annually in Wilcox County, JA connects members of the business community with the classroom to teach experiential, hands-on curriculum.  Programs focus on workforce readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship to cultivate success among students and increase the relevancy of their education.  JA students engage in constructive activities, covering topics such as defining the difference between needs and wants, budgeting skills, workplace ethics, application of entrepreneurial thinking and skills, and running a business.

Schools in our community look to Junior Achievement to provide supplemental learning experiences that help young people develop the competence, confidence, and character to make smart academic and economic decisions.  Junior Achievement programs are offered in a variety of grades in both public and private schools in Wilcox County.
