JA BizTown

JA BizTown® and  JA Finance Park® is all that, and more. These financial literacy laboratories exist to inspire and prepare youth to succeed. There is no question about it: Financial literacy and sound money management skills are essential to success. Today more than ever, young adults need a strong foundation for making intelligent, lifelong, personal financial decisions.
To improve the financial literacy and work readiness of our future business leaders and employees, Junior Achievement has created an exciting reality-based learning environment for 5th grade, middle and high school students.
JA BizTown®serves 5th grade classrooms with a series of in-class lessons that culminate in a visit to a fully interactive, simulated town. In the classroom, students learn important concepts in financial literacy, community economics, work readiness and business management.
JA Finance Park®provides a practical hands-on personal budgeting simulation for middle and high school students. The classroom curriculum is complemented by a visit to the Park where students will immerse themselves in a reality-based decision-making process addressing aspects of individual and family budgeting including housing, transportation, food, utilities, healthcare, investments, philanthropy, and banking.
