Lexington, KY- The Enterprise Holdings Foundation has donated $2,500 to Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass to provide workforce readiness curriculum to Central Kentucky schools. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, which, through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries and franchises, operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands.
“Only 25% of job seekers report receiving any “career pathing” exploration or advisory support while in high school, so these dollars will go a long way to fund the career readiness programs that JA offers. At Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass, we are fortunate to work with wonderful community partners. Thank you to the Enterprise Holdings Foundation for its support of Junior Achievement and its tireless commitment to the students in our community,” says Lynn Hudgins, President of JA of the Bluegrass.
Thanks to successful partnerships and programs like the one with the Enterprise Holdings Foundation, JA of the Bluegrass is set to present JA programs to over 25,000 students during the 2018-2019 school year.
