At Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas, we host a number of events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
Spirit of Achievement Gala & Grand Opening
Start a new tradition at the Paragon Bank Opportunity HQ as we celebrate our mission and grand opening in Camp North End at our Spirit of Achievement Gala! Guys, suit up, and dames, dress to the nines in your favorite 1920s garb and join us for an evening of fun and entertainment, including live music, a cigar lounge, bourbon and sushi bars, entertainment, and more!
Junior Achievement Summer Camp
Looking for a unique and engaging summer camp experience that will create lasting impact for your child? At Junior Achievement Summer Camp, students will spend a week running JA BizTown, a life-size replica of a town, creating their own businesses, and learning how to prepare for the future as they sharpen skills in math, communications, teamwork, citizenship, business ethics, and personal finance.
Junior Achievement Spring Golf Classic
The Junior Acheivement Spring Golf Classic is back again for the 17th year! This exclusive golf outing brings together top-level executives from across the Charlotte region for a first-class event. Held this year at a new course, you don't want to miss this popular, friendly competition!
Junior Achievement Community-Wide Bowl-a-Thon
Looking for a fun team-building activity? Join us for our community-wide Bowl-a-Thon event to celebrate Financial Literacy Month and support Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas programs for local students!
JA Business Hall of Fame
Since 1987, the North Carolina Business Hall of Fame has inducted more than 100 of our state's elite business leaders for their outstanding contributions in defining and reshaping the North Carolina economic landscape. At this annual prestigious event, Junior Achievement honors influential, visionary leaders from the North Carolina business community who have made a significant impact, created new opportunities, and elevated the educational landscape for youth in their communities in regards to financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness.
