JA Events BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
JA of Central Carolinas EVENTS
At JA of Central Carolinas, we host a number of events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
5k for JA
Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas is hosting the 2nd Annual 5K for JA in Camp North End, just Northeast of Uptown. We have partnered with the national 401K Race for Financial Fitness, to make the event bigger and better! We'll have a certified 5K race followed by a Family Fun Run. The race will start and finish in the North End's newest hot spot - the Boiler Yard at Camp North End. Plan to stick around after the race for a WellABration to follow!
Annual Business Ethics Luncheon - Western NC
Asheville area high school students join local business leaders to share a meal, listen to a thoughtful keynote, and engage in lively conversation about current issues in business and ethics. Local companies are invited to sponsor this event and provide leaders to facilitate round-table discussions.
JA Golf Events
Come join us for a day on the links! We have golf tournaments in several locations around North and South Carolina throughout the year. We would be thrilled to welcome new participants or sponsors to any of our tournaments.
Each year, companies throughout the Central Carolinas bring their friends, family, and colleagues together to support Junior Achievement through a Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser. Last year, over 1,700 participants from 30 companies in the area joined us to support JA with this peer-to-peer fundraising opportunity. This is a great way to unite and strenghten your company or group while raising funds to support students in local communities. Contact JA to get the ball rolling. We can't wait to see you throw some strikes for our region's future success!
