Honoring the best in the business to benefit the next in business. The Greater Richmond Business Hall of Fame honors the professional accomplishments of visionary business leaders. The honorees have experienced business success and have established a legacy of leadership within their industries and the community. Through their actions and accomplishments, they serve as role models for young people.

  • Alan Lingerfelt is chairman and CEO of Lingerfelt CommonWealth Partners, the investment management affiliate that is a joint venture created in 2012 with Lingerfelt Development and commercial real estate firm Commonwealth Commercial Partners. Lingerfelt took the reins of the family construction and development businesses in 1976, and the companies have produced nearly 20 million square feet of commercial real estate in seven states over 40 years. In 1995, he entered into a joint venture with Liberty Property Trust, where he served as senior vice president from 1995 to 2007. He retired from Liberty in 2007 and re-established Lingerfelt Development with son Ryan Lingerfelt.
  • Dalal Maria Salomon is ranked among the top women financial advisers in the United States. Salomon is the CEO and founding partner of Salomon & Ludwin LLC in Henrico County, an independent brokerage practice affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network that she and partner Dan Ludwin founded in 2009. Salomon has made Barron's Top 1,200 Wealth Advisors in the United States every year since 2006. She was named as a Top Independent Advisor by Barron's in 2017 and was named one of the Top Wealth Advisors in the U.S. by Forbes magazine in 2016 and 2017.
  • Matthew G. Thompson is the retired chairman of Thompson, Siegel and Walmsley, the Henrico-based investment management firm that he co-founded in 1969. The firm was the first independent investment counsel in Richmond. By the time it was sold in 1985, it had grown to manage $1.7 billion in assets.
