A Raycom Media Station

Kym Grinnage has been VP/General Manager of NBC12 since 2011. Prior to his appointment as General Manager he was appointed Station Manager/General Sales Manager in 2009. Kym strongly believes that internships and apprenticeships offer young people the best opportunity - the best opportunity to anyone who is seeking a career in any field. He also encourages students and individuals to read as much literature as they can about personal development, goal setting and motivation. "The winners are not the people with the most knowledge, the winners are the people who have knowledge and then take action."

He is the recipient of three Associated Press Awards for "Best Editorial."

He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Communications with a minor in Business Administration from St. John's University. He resides in Chesterfield County with his wife Kyle Grinnage, a Certified International Protocol Consultant and Personal Development Consultant. They have two adult daughters.

Kym enjoys spending time with his family, a good book, a good movie, a good conversation and certainly a good day on the golf course.
