JA Job Shadow

Students are shown a day in the life of PwC employees.

JA Job Shadow is another great program for high school students that prepares them for the future.

Students participate in three classroom sessions focusing on

  • Career research, preparation and job-hunting tools
  • Professionalism and ethics in the workplace
  • Professional action plans

The students then get to visit a local company to learn about the jobs available in that industry and what skills are required and desired.

Partner companies who participate in JA Job Shadow include:

Capital One
Davenport Investments
Richmond International Raceway
Virginia529 College Savings Plan
Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond
Luck Companies
And more!

All smiles at the end of a day at VA529!
