JA of Central Upstate New York EVENTS
At JA of Central Upstate New York, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
Rochester Business Hall of Fame
In this prestigious event, Junior Achievement will be honoring influential, visionary leaders (individual or organizations) from the business community that have made a significant impact, created new opportunities and elevated the educational landscape for youth in their communities in regards to financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work-readiness.

JA Entrepreneurial Youth Summit
The First Annual JA Entrepreneurial Youth Summit will help students draw on their skills and creativity, unlock their entrepreneurial potential and plant the seeds for future entrepreneurial thinking.
JA will leverage its latest curriculum, JA It's My Business®, and explore foundational concepts such as market and need analysis, design thinking, research, funding, and developing a business model canvas.
Junior Achievement Titan of Business Challenge
JA Titan challenges students to apply their knowledge of business as they compete online in the highly competitive industry of the fictional Holo-Generator.

The JA Bowl-A-Thon is a fundraiser that supports JA programs for students here in our region! Whether you use it as a company team-building event or just a fun way for your company or employees to give back, the JA Bowl-A-Thon is a guaranteed good time!
JA You're Hired!
JA's Career Success is an in-depth, seven-session, skill building program which develops problem solving techniques, applies critical thinking to work-based problems, practices professional collaboration, and much more. After participation, students will also be able to rank work priorities, recognize high-growth industries and identify personal brand and job-hunting tools.
