JA Events are so Awesome!
JA Special Events
At JA of Dallas, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
2017-18 JA Dallas Great Gatsby Bowl-a-Thon
The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon presents an opportunity for co-workers to build camaraderie and network with one another and other companies during a fun afternoon at the bowling lanes. Each bowler sets a goal of raising at least $125 to receive a one of a kind Bowl-A-Thon t-shirt.

WHAT IS SWING FOR JA?
20+ Dallas-area companies bring employees for a fun-filled afternoon of networking, team building, client-hosting, or employee appreciation. The sponsorships they provide support community role models as they teach local students how money, careers, and business ownership work through JA's proven programs!
"In 4th grade, I learned about being an entrepreneur. I now own my own vending machine company, which helped me earn money to help buy our family dog."
"I learned that companies are looking for candidates who show they are ready to work hard and have a solid résumé."
"When the business people come in and work with our students, it gives students a real life application and how it relates to their future."
"Starting with elementary school Junior Achievement I remember it being one of the best parts of the year. I got to have someone new come in and share about their life and how my future could be successful too!"
"That experience impacted the trajectory of my career. Today, I owned a 13 year old marketing consulting and coaching firm. Thank you JA for exposing me to my destiny."
"We not only make their lives better, but we potentially enrich all of our own lives."
