Dear Young Professionals in Dallas:
For over six decades, Junior Achievement (JA) of Dallas, Inc. has inspired and prepared students to succeed in a global economy by teaching real-world lessons about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and workplace readiness. As JA has grown, the organization has sought new ways to engage diverse, qualified talent to support its mission.
The Junior Achievement of Dallas' Young Executives Society was developed for young professionals, such as yourself, to have an opportunity to join JA's effort and help make an impact on local students. Together, we directly recruit other Dallas young professionals to join us in our interactions with young scholars through JA's volunteer programs, including: JA In A Day®, JA Finance Park®, and JA BizTown®. As an additional benefit, the JA Young Executives Society connects local young professionals and introduces them to some of Dallas's most influential leaders in business, politics, and philanthropy through events such as the "Empower the Future Speaking Series."
Together, these opportunities create a unique opportunity in which Dallas young professionals can not only improve the lives of underprivileged students, but also gain personal and professional development while networking with their peers.
As young professionals, we understand your time is limited, and there is difficulty in choosing the right organizations to support. But if you're interested in empowering the most at-risk kids in our city while also networking with other young professionals and business leaders in the DFW area, then the JA Young Executives Society is the place for you.
I, as well as the entire JA Young Executives Society Board, invite you to learn more about our organization and ultimately join us in our effort to help Junior Achievement. By working together, we will not only have fun and grow as young professionals, but will also change the lives of local students. I hope you'll join us!
