Giving Tuesday 2020 | Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania

Junior achievement giving tuesday campaign challenge

Every year, on Giving Tuesday, millions of people mobilize across the globe to show up, give back, and change their communities. The goal is to create a massive wave of generosity that lasts well beyond that day. This year Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, December 1st

The Junior Achievement Young Professional Board is challenging the Junior Achievement Board to a friendly competition to see who can raise the most money and engage the most people on their social media accounts.

JA has created a social media toolkit with images and posts geared toward a Giving Tuesday countdown that will begin on Thursday, November 12th. This toolkit is starting point. You can use everything verbatim or put the message in your own words. Please keep the images, hashtags, and links the same.

If you plan to post on another social media platform other than Instagram, you can use the social media links just below to get the correct social media handle.

Similar to the Bowl-a-thon and other Peer to Peer fundraising efforts, we have a campaign page on Qgiv, https://secure.qgiv.com/event/jasepagivingtuesday2020/. Please familiarize yourself with the campaign page and register as a Fund-Raiser to create your own personalized GivingTuesday page. There can be some fun, friendly competition between board members to see who can raise the most. Each board member has a fundraising goal of $300 – which includes a $100 personal gift and $200 in raised funds from others.

Qgiv is an EASY and SECURE way to raise money and help fund JA programs.  You can easily review your page's personal fundraising report, see who's donated and send thank you notes. (Tax receipts are sent automatically—no need to worry about that.)

Here's how to register your own fundraising page:
1. Click here

2. Click "Fund-Raise Registration" at the top of the page.

3. Register as either a Board Member or Young Professional Board Member

4. Personalize your fundraising page; update your profile image, or increase your fundraising goal.

5. Make a personal donation to get you on your way!

6. Feel free to send friends an email from right from the qGiv platform.

Don't forget about the Virtual Trivia Night for YPB and Board Member friends and family!

You can register here.

Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm
