Our Three Pillars: Work Readiness, Entrepreneurship, and Financial Literacy
Junior Achievement's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. We believe that teaching young people about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy – as early and as often as possible – is essential to that success. Our volunteer-led experiences reach over 10 million students per year in 109 U.S. markets in urban, rural, and suburban areas in all 50 states – and in over 100 countries around the globe.
Junior Achievement (JA) is the world's largest organization dedicated to educating young people about business, economics and free enterprise.
In Delaware, we are focused on partnering with school districts to provide deeper doses of JA content and more business role models to the students who want to get an upper hand on direct employment, entrepreneurial start-up, and/or continued education upon high school graduation.
A Chance To Inspire
All JA volunteers serve as role models to help young people better understand economic concepts in order to become successful in the workplace and in life.
JA volunteers come from all walks of life. But they all have a common vision: Sharing a message of hope and opportunity with each and every young person they reach.
Launch The Next Generation
Our vision is to be the partner of choice for businesses, educators, and policy makers seeking to expand workforce and economic development by educating the next generation.
