Educate with Junior Achievement
You have, perhaps, the greatest responsibility in the world. The young people entrusted to your care come to you with incredible potential and sometimes enormous obstacles to their success. Your caring, compassion, creativity, skills and knowledge combine to provide instruction and coaching to meet not only immediate educational goals, but also to build upon for the future.
At Junior Achievement, we understand the complexities of your work and the innate challenges of any public, private, parochial, or after-school learning environment. We know that you have great expectations for yourself and each of your students - - and we want to be part of the solution that helps you meet or exceed those expectations.
Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA offers in-school and after-school experiences for students in grades K-12. JA experiences focus on seven key content areas: business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, financial literacy, and career development.
Through collaborative partnerships with organizations such as Delaware Society for Human Resource Management (DESHRM), Junior Achievement of Delaware is creating new and engaging ways for students to develop live networking, interviewing, and soft-skills.
Junior Achievement is passionate about inspiring kids to learn the economics of life through free enterprise education. JA enables caring adults to share their experience with students showing them what it takes to obtain a rewarding career. Through this dynamic interaction between volunteers and students, JA promotes active learning and brings theory to life.
