JA Company Program®
What is JA Company Program?
- In-school (any partner teacher; Marketing Pathway Level 3; or existing/new school store)
- After-school (club, CTSO, etc.)
- Host-site Internship (community business/organization partner)
The program runs from October through April with regularly scheduled meetings. JA organizes and facilitates county-wide 'pitch' events in November called, JA Piranha Pond Pitch, in which we help fund student startups. Plus, JA hosts a regional competition for student companies to return and share their story in April called, JA Barracuda Bowl! (link for 2019 competition). These events further develop & showcase student companies' talents, skills and accomplishments but also enables our business partners to engage with and challenge these teen entrepreneurs each and every year.
