Junior Achievement honors Hall of Fame Laureates for their leadership and success in business, and community involvement.
The Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame is a black tie event that provides Junior Achievement the opportunity to recognize our state's most respected leaders for their commitment to and investment in the community.
Junior Achievement is seeking nominations for two distinguished Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa Business Hall of Fame events. The Corridor event will be held in September (20th Annual) and the Cedar Valley event will be in October (25th Annual). Three laureates will be selected for each event. All nominees should currently or previously have lived and worked in Eastern Iowa (Benton, Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Delaware, Grundy, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn counties) and epitomize five key standards of excellence: The Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame laureates are part of a league of outstanding individuals who have made legendary contributions to the free enterprise system. Through their actions and accomplishments, the Business Hall of Fame laureates provide inspiration for the next generation as they take the reins of leadership in the years to come.

ii) Integrity as an ethical business leader
iii) Community a commitment to bettering the community as a whole
iv) Leadership qualities, which allow them to be exemplary role models
v) Entrepreneurial Spirit in starting or significantly advancing local business
