Lisa Thornton – Development Manager

    (410) 742-8112 x203
   lisa.thornton@ja.org

Lisa Thornton joined the Junior Achievement team in August 2018 as Development Manager. After obtaining an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and working in that field for almost 5 years, Lisa decided she wasn't able to be as creative as she wanted. Thornton went back and got a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Wilmington University. After 5 years in the Marketing Agency environment, she decided she wanted to focus her efforts on just one organization, as opposed to many. Her desire to focus on a single organization paired with a desire to positively impact the lives of youth lead her to a career with Junior Achievement. Lisa lives in Dagsboro, DE with her husband, Dan, and their four fur babies.
