Junior Achievement's volunteer-driven programming equips students with the knowledge, skills, and capacity to be successful in today's economy. In its fouth year, the race brings JA Champions from across the metro region together to power possibility for the next generation of leaders!

This family friendly 4.01 KM race around local landmark Liberty Memorial kicks at 8:30 am and is followed by a WellABration™ party on the lawn with food, drinks, and fun for kids and adults alike! Funds raised benefit Junior Achievement's youth financial education and workforce readiness programs in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Every young woman deserves to believe in herself — and to have the tools to do it. At FWLF, professional mentors are paired with high school women for a day of learning and personal growth. Mentors and mentees team up to navigate crucial life-lessons, explore career paths, and prepare for future economic success.

The day includes time for one-on-one mentorship, a panel discussion on career paths featuring established female professionals, breakout sessions with Kansas City leaders, a keynote lunch, and concludes with group reflection on takeaways from the day.
