Communities JA of Greater New Orleans Serves

Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines & St. Bernard

The Greater New Orleans area consists of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard parishes.  During the 2017-2018 school year, Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans served 25,302 K-12 students in the Greater New Orleans area. We partnered with local volunteers who donated 158,540 hours of their time and energy to offer local students the knowledge and skills to be successful in today's world.

In addition to the New Orleans metro area, Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans serves the following areas: Northshore (St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Washington parishes) and River Region (St. Charles, St. John, St. Mary, Lafourche, and Terrebonne parishes). During the 2017-2018 school year, Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans served 4,817 K-12 Northshore area students. We partnered with local volunteers who donated 24,290 hours of their time and energy to offer local students the knowledge and skills to be successful in today's world.

River and Bayou Regions   Lafourche, St. Charles, St. John, St. Mary & Terrebonne

During the 2017-2018 school year, Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans served 4,642 K-12 River Region students. We partnered with local volunteers who donated 37,554 hours of their time and energy to offer local students the knowledge and skills to be successful in today's world.
