JA Student Entrepreneurship Challenge | Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans

Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge

The Brees Dream Foundation and JA of Greater New Orleans have partnered to help high school students turn their big ideas into reality with the Trust Your Crazy Ideas Challenge.

This business plan pitch competition allows students the opportunity to be mentored by local professional entrepreneurs as they enhance their own business proposal to win a continuing education fund. This nine week program following in-class instruction by their teacher empowers them with presentation skills, marketing and financing knowledge, as well as, the chance to gain confidence in themselves, their own ideas and their future.

The competition teaches entrepreneurial thinking to students and fine tunes their business pitches before presenting the semi-finalists during half-time of a New Orleans Pelicans game.

Winning teams from JA of Greater New Orleans, JA of Baton Rouge & Acadiana, and JA of North Louisiana qualify to compete at the state competition during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week!
