Junior Achievement Sparks Student Success

JA impacted 18,300 area students in more than 950 classrooms during 2013-2014.

Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12thgrade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. With the help of 694 volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace.

Capital One/Junior Achievement Finance Park in the Golden Triangle

Junior Achievement's mission is to empower youth to own their economic success. Capital One/Junior Achievement Finance Park gives middle and high school grade students the opportunity to develop personal money management skills, acquire personal finance knowledge, and prepare for the financial decisions and challenges of their adult lives. Flint Hills Resources, provided a scholarship for Memorial High School students to attend Finance Park during the spring. Flint Hills Resources  is committed to taking an active role in inspiring, encouraging and developing the next-generation workforce and believes financial literacy is critical to life and wants to help establish a foundation for these seniors in high school to succeed as they embark out on their own as young adults.
