Junior Achievement is dedicated to empowering young people to own their economic success. We provide economic education programs that teach financial literacy, career-readiness and entrepreneurship concepts.

Classroom Volunteer

Serving as a JA mentor is an exciting and fulfilling experience. We have K-12 classrooms in need of a volunteer throughout Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake and Lorain counties. JA volunteers teach in a variety of classroom settings including afterschool and special education classes. Junior Achievement is also part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) Social Studies curriculum. Every 6th grade CMSD student will experience JA Global Marketplace as part of their Social Studies education.

Online Auction

Our online auction helps to raise funds to provide programs to classrooms. Every year, the auction features a mix of one-of-a-kind items, gift cards, sporting event experiences, arts & cultural events, family outing, spa & beauty items, fitness memberships and more! Learn more

 

Bowl-a-Thon

The JA Bowl-a-Thon is the largest fundraiser, helping to provide JA programs and volunteers for thousands of students every year. Hundreds of individuals join family, friends and colleagues in an effort to raise the most donations for JA kids. Event day includes bowling, prizes and a good time! Learn more.

 

Golf Invitational 

For top executives and their clients, the JA Golf Invitational is held at Kirtland Country Club, one of our region's premiere courses. Golfers enjoy a day of delectable food, cold cocktails and an exemplary course to challenge even the most skilled sportsman or sportswoman. Learn more.

 

Young Professionals Group (JA YPG)

Emerging leaders can gain experience while giving back. JA YPG is the young leadership body of Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland. JA YPG members help raise awareness about JA, participate as mentors and help generate funds to support programs.
