Let's Get Real! is an interactive, hands-on, real-life simulation to give young people the opportunity to explore career choices and make lifestyle and budget decisions similar to those which adults face on a daily basis. Geared toward eighth grade students, those participating assume they are a twenty-eight year old adult with no financial assistance from home. Participants proceed through several stations, including Housing, Taxes, Transportation, Childcare, Entertainment, etc.
Volunteers are needed to assist the students as they visit the various stations, "paying" their monthly expenses. If you are interested in helping with this highly successful event, please complete the form below. For more information, contact Junior Achievement at (812) 232-6230.
Parking: Volunteers can park in the Meadows Shopping Center lot - beyond the First Financial Bank lot – and check in at the main entrance with the school resource officer.
