Junior Achievement in Northeast Missouri and West-Central Illinois

Junior Achievement in Northeast Missouri and West-Central Illinois supports schools and educators by providing valuable kindergarten through high school classroom resources. Our programs are taught by caring community and business volunteers. During the 2016-17 school year over 10,000 area students will have these programs in their classrooms!  JA's programs focus on basic concepts of economics and show how education is relevant to the workplace. The sequential activities foster lifelong learning and help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future. With a range of different programs, Junior Achievement teaches about concepts relating to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work-place readiness. JA's programs are correlated to Missouri Show-Me Standards and Illinois Learning Standards and Grade Level Expectations.
