Junior Achievement has a positive impact in lives and with our economy improving societal issues. We have a significant role today, with helping educators teach remotely. We are building and reaching even more students in low-income areas today in many school districts, which has long-term impact.
During the pandemic stay-home period, our team excelled with remote learning; helping educators with Google Classroom, and through MS Teams. We didn't slow down on our outreach, and this past school year, we reached over 154,000 students with over 1/3 engaged with remote learning. We feel great having a significant role today, and it's expanding in the upcoming school year.

Junior Achievement supports our Southeast Missouri schools and educators by providing valuable kindergarten through high school classroom resources that are well-tested, hands-on programs taught by caring community and business volunteers. JA's programs focus on basic concepts of economics and show how education is relevant to the workplace.
The sequential activities foster lifelong learning and help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future. With a range of different programs, Junior Achievement teaches about concepts relating to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness. JA's programs are correlated to Missouri Show-Me Standards and Grade Level Expectations.
