Volunteer Resource Center
Thank you so much for volunteering with Junior Achievement! We appreciate your dedication to the students of Kansas. This Volunteer Resource Center has the information you need to be successful in your volunteering.
Volunteer Training Packet
JA of Kansas staff uses this packet to help new volunteers. It includes basic forms like the Volunteer Conduct Standard Form and our social media policy, as well as some Frequently Asked Questions and other helpful classroom management tips.
Training Videos from JA South Dakota
Our friends at JA of South Dakota have put together some wonderful training videos, walking volunteers step by step through each lesson of each JA program. These 5-7 minute videos can be helpful when preparing your lessons. NOTE: Helpful tips for the digital/blended programs are available online at learn.ja.org.
Pre- and Post-Tests
While Junior Achievement of Kansas does not require our volunteers to administer the pre- and post-tests to students, we know some of you do.
At the end of your time with your students, each program kit provides you with 30 to 32 certificates to present to the students. We have templates to either print the color certificates or print on the paper certificates provided:
Elementary Age Programming (K-5)
Kindergarten: JA Ourselves (with design)
Grade 3: JA Our City (with design)
Middle School Age Programming (6-8)
