JA of Kansas to Receive Good Apple Award from Wichita Public Schools
Wichita, KS - Junior Achievement (JA) of Kansas is one of the district partner recipients of the Good Apple Award from Wichita Public Schools (WPS). The Good Apple Award program allows schools and administrative support centers to recognize employees, volunteers and school partners who provide exemplary service to the district and its students. The awards are given twice each year.
Jim Means, Executive Director of Career and Technical Education for WPS noted the following about JA's recognition: "Junior Achievement is a highly valued partner of the Wichita Public Schools. The JA volunteers bring a fresh expertise and perspective that makes a lasting impression on our students. JA is being honored as a district Good Apple because this partnership makes us a stronger community."
