The Fran Jabara Scholarship
Congratulations to Maribel Hernandez- Cordero,on receiving the 2018 Fran Jabara Scholarship.
The Fran Jabara Scholarship is currently $1,000 - $500 is awarded for each semester of the recipient's freshmen year. It is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship. Junior Achievement of Kansas - Wichita District awards one scholarship a year.
Fran Jabara Scholarship Criteria
- The applicant must be a graduating high school senior of a Wichita high school,
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better,
- Must meet qualified admissions requirements and enroll in Wichita State Univerity's Frank Barton School of Business for the academic year, and
- Must maintain full-time student status (12+ credit hours) for both semesters. (Failure to do so may result in the withholding of funds, or the requirement to repay the scholarship.)
