At JA of Middle Tennessee, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
JA Rutherford County Awareness Breakfast
Backstage at BizTown
Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee's Backstage at BizTown brings together three Nashville songwriters at JA BizTown - a mock city where 4th-6th grade students take on the roles of employees, consumers, and even taxpayers!
JA Bowl-a-Thon
Junior Achievement's spring Bowl-a-Thon brings together business professionals from over 40 Middle TN companies to raise awareness and funds for JA!
JA Golf Classic
Join us in 2019 for another entertaining day of golf and networking while supporting community role models as they teach the students of our community how money, careers, and business ownership work with JA's proven programs.
Awareness Breakfast
Bottles for BizTown
The 7th Annual Bottles for BizTown event to raise funds and awareness for the JA BizTown program. This masked wine tasting competition features a silent auction, entertainment, food, and a moonshine tasting. See below for further details.
Nashville Business Hall of Fame
Just as there are halls of fame established to recognize high achievement in sports and music, the Nashville Business Hall of Fame was established in 1991 by Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee to venerate icons of commerce and industry. The criteria for laureate selection include a demonstration of business excellence, courageous thinking and acting, inspired leadership, and community-mindedness.
Smokin Barrel- A Bourbon Whiskey Tasting
Smokin' Barrel is a bourbon whiskey tasting. the proceeds from the event benefit Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee, Rutherford County to provide JA programs for Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County schools.
