Volunteering for JA is fun and will change the lives of a classroom of students!  We provide all of the materials and a complete training program, all you need is your enthusiasm and a desire to help prepare the future generation!

Back to School, Back to JA

The demand for Junior Achievement's programs has never been greater, and we need your help to provide even more programs during the 2018-2019 school year!  You can donate today by clicking here!

Our students need skills to enter the workforce, and Junior Achievement programs give them those high demand skills that employers are seeking.  By supporting Junior Achievement, you will help give kids the confidence to start a business, choose a career, and understand personal finance.  You will help them be prepared for the world of work and all of the challenges of adulthood as they gain the life skills needed to achieve success!  Help change a student's mindset from "I can't" to "I can"!

Founded by Robert Mericle, DiscoverNEPA highlights the northeastern Pennsylvania region, and Junior Achievement is proud to be a part of this community!  For more information about Discover NEPA, please click here.

What is Junior Achievement?

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to preparing youth in the areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.  Founded locally in 1968, we are ready to celebrate our 50th anniversary of providing programs that teach kids the importance of staying in school, and planning for their futures.

We rely on contributions from businesses, individuals and foundations to provide our programs to over 12,000 students annually.  We can't change the lives of northeastern Pennsylvania children without your help!  Click on the picture below to learn why we do what we do!
