Changes Lives and Empowers the Future
Junior Achievement changes lives and transforms communities by providing students with the knowledge, guidance, and experience to succeed in a competitive global market. Equipping students with the financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurial development needed for economic and social success requires your help. Each class of students needs a volunteer mentor to deliver JA's impactful curriculum and a donor to support that programming.
For $1,000, or $84 dollars per month, you can make a difference in the lives of students in your community. You can build a sustainable future!
JA CLASS - $1,000 provides a JA program experience, and trained volunteer support, to a class of students.
Inspiring a generation to be financially capable requires building a bridge from the classroom to the boardroom - and that's exactly what the Junior Achievements' in-class and blended-learning virtual experiences do with hands-on, digital curriculum. All classes are age-appropriate and help students learn to make intelligent financial decisions that last a lifetime, including decisions related to income, expenses, savings, and credit. Students emerge with increased financial savvy and the tools needed to be smart, debt-free consumers.
JA COMPANY PROGRAM - $5,000 delivers the JA Company Program and business competition event to emerging entrepreneurs.
JA Company Program immerses high school students in the business of running a business. By tasking them with the development, organization and physical operation of an actual company, this hands-on program builds students' understanding of the free-enterprise system and its benefits as well as appreciation for the skills required for effective leadership and collaboration.
JA SOCIAL INNOVATION CAMP - $6,000 provides an intensive camp combining social innovation, sustainability, business savvy, and competition that recognizes and rewards financial capability, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
JA Social Innovation Camps equip students with the skills and experiences to run businesses, make discoveries, create solutions, and change our world for the better. Students learn and experience business fundamentals and the art and hard-work of entrepreneurship as they work collaboratively to design solutions to issues related to sustainabiity, health and safety, STEM career development, high school graduation rates, and workforce readiness. Camps are designed to stimulate entrepreneurial thinking and develop leadership capacity among students by engaging learners, building critical work readiness skills, fostering innovation, and solving business and community challenges.
