Junior Achievement of Northern California hosts several signature events each year to raise money to support financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship education. Each event celebrates JA's commitment to collaboration and partnership. So whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, JA offers a variety of ways for you to support the mission of inspiring and preparing students to succeed.

JA Finance Park Mobile - Central Coast

JA Finance Park Mobile - Central Coast

When: March 4, 2019 to March 7, 2019
Where: Monterey County Fair and Event Center

JA Finance Park® is a month-long program that introduces students to personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students visit JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or virtual community, to put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget.

Whether you like to BOWL or BIKE, play KICKBALL or want to organize a HIKE—We encourage you to recruit a team to fundraise for the JA mission. Build community in your region by hosting events, which raise funds for JA's educational programing.

JA NorCal Business Hall of Fame - Centennial Gala

Celebrating 100 years of the JA mission, the Business Hall of Fame Awards Gala is Junior Achievement's principal fundraiser. This event honors our volunteers, educators and outstanding business leaders who have made a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the Bay Area.

JA Company of the Year

The CYOC allows high school students participating in the JA Company Program to demonstrate their business acumen and spirit of entrepreneurship in a competitive environment. Teams present their business results and learning experiences to a panel of judges who evaluate company performance against the competition criteria.

JA Stock Market Challenge - Fresno

When: Tuesday, April 9, 2019
Where: Chukchansi Park, 1800 Tulare Street, Fresno
Time: 9:30am-12:30pm Student Event, 5:00pm-8:00pm Evening Event

Student Event: Don't miss this exclusive event where student teams are issued $1,000,000 to buy mock stock in fictitious companies. Once the opening bell is rung, the market opens & every 60 seconds is a new trading day! This high-tech stock trading simulation gives students an eye-opening experience into the rapid-fire atmosphere of financial trading. 
 
Evening Event: This unique & dynamic event brings together professionals for a night of fun and friendly investment competition while supporting youth education in our community. Increase your company's visibility and network with other top companies as you share in the excitement of this one-of -a-kind evening.

Bringing together 200 underserved local high school students for a day of hands-on STEM activities and workforce engagement, exposure to tech career paths and receive mentorship from the region's tech leaders.

This healthcare STEM summit will serve 350+ Contra Costa high school students, exposing them to female leaders in the healthcare and bio-tech fields. JA students will network and gain exposure to growing STEM career paths in our local economy.

JA Finance Park Mobile - North Bay

When: February 19, 2019 to March 1, 2019
Where: Sonoma County Fairgrounds

In a simulated business expo setting, middle and high school students learn critical skills related to budgeting and money management. Students make budget decisions about everything from housing to child care and groceries.
