Please join us in support of bringing Financial Literacy, Work Readiness, and Entrepreneurship education to Medina's local schools.

JA Career Readiness Conference
The JA Career Readiness Conference introduces high school students to future careers and provides them with the skills to apply for and secure their first job through interactive discussions, activities, and a business simulation competition.
During the JA Career Readiness Conference, students will have the opportunity to participate in one of the two different tracks during this one-day event. Below are the descriptions for each track:
1. Titan - students compete to win scholarships using the JA Titan program online business simulation, which allows students to gain a real-world understanding of the effects management decisions have on a company's bottom line. Participants also learn what it's like to be a CEO in a global economy through these simulated business investments.
2. Career - students explore the top careers and the most in-demand majors through discussions and group activities with local professionals. Local human resource experts share tips with the students on applying for their first job and students participate in an "Hour of Power" networking activity where they perfect their 30-second elevator pitch and learn how to answer today's hardest interview questions. Lastly, students participate in a financial literacy focused activity where they have to navigate unexpected expenses as a first semester college student. Students will be able to develop a vision and realistic plan for their futures through this track.
Giant Eagle Bowl-a-Thon

The outing begins with a continential breakfast, then 18 holes of golf (with cart included), followed by lunch and awards.
