JA of North Florida EVENTS

At JA of North Florida, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement "Support Local" Golden Ticket

When: June 1st - July 22, 2020
Where: Online, everywhere!

Do YOU have the Golden Ticket? This year's Golden Ticket package will feature gift cards, vouchers and gift certificates to an array of small and local businesses in Jacksonville. Buy your Golden Tickets today and you'll be supporting Junior Achievement and local business owners. For these business owners and entrepreneurs are who our students look up to when they learn about entrepreneurship and starting a business in their JA programs. 100% of proceeds raised will support JA programming and activities in North Florida, and get more young people ready for their futures

JA Hall of Fame

JA Hall of Fame

When: New Date TBA (Previously May 27, 2020)
Where: Adam W. Herbert University Center, University of North Florida
Time: Noon to 1:30 pm

The annual JA Hall of Fame honors the dedication and support that individuals and companies have given to Junior Achievement of North Florida. The event is marked with the presentation of the Thompson S. Baker Award, given to an individual who has influenced business and education in the Jacksonville community.

Junior Achievement of North Florida Golf Classic

Where: THE PLAYERS Championship Course
Time: Registration opens 8:00 am. Shotgun start 9:30 am.

The Junior Achievement of North Florida Golf Classic is a high-end tournament for the benefit of Junior Achievement of North Florida, held at prestigious THE PLAYERS Championship Course.

YOU have the power to change the lives of the next generation! Each bowler's fundraising goal is $200 (that's $20 from 10 people!). 100% of proceeds benefit Junior Achievement programs serving youth in our area. Just one program can change the course of a young mind. You can make that possible!

Where: Online: Kahoot & JA of North Florida Facebook Live
Time: 5:45pm Check In, Trivia 6:00 - 7:00pm

We are rolling the Bowl-A-Thon (canceled due to COVID-19) into a Virtual Trivia Night!! Just like a Bowl-A-Thon, participants will create teams and fundraise through their personal fundraising site towards a team goal. All you need is a team of 5/6 colleagues, a computer, WiFi, your favorite snacks & beverages, and thinking caps!

Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Virtual event -- The in-person event for Day of the Girl was cancelled due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. 

A day all about girls! Day of the Girl is a subprogram under the JA Girl$ initiative. JA Girl$ and partner organizations, companies, and local entrepreneurs will facilitate workshops on topics of concern for girls ages 10-15.
