JA Finance Park Virtual
JA Finance Park Virtual includes a four-hour online simulation designed to help our next generation of business and community leaders boost their financial literacy and career planning skills.
This interactive learning experience offers a variety of real-world financial scenarios, teaching high school students to manage their money, make smart financial choices and develop a budget.
Following 18 in-classroom lessons that explore topics such as banking, credit, insurance, earning a salary, paying taxes and juggling living expenses, participants create avatars that role-play at making spending choices based on realistic life situations.
Experience for yourself: go inside JA Finance Park Virtual.
Thanks to sponsorship opportunities for North Florida's business community, students navigating JA's virtual world will see familiar brands on the storefronts and billboards of JA Finance Park Virtual.

JA Personal Finance lessons are integrated into the curriculum for all classrooms participating in JA Finance Park Virtual. Volunteers are needed to teach the JA Personal Finance portion, which focuses on earning money, spending money wisely through budgeting, saving and investing money, using credit cautiously and protecting one's personal finances.
The time commitment is one 90-minute class. That's it! Your professional expertise and serving as someone from the "outside world" coming into the classroom to teach complements what students are learning in the JA Finance Park Virtual curriculum. For information about volunteering contact Teresa Smith at 904-398-9944 ext.227 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
