JA Work$


Students will be exposed to Junior Achievement's workforce preparation programs and workforce preparation activities. 
The high school students will be trained and will teach Junior Achievement classes to elementary school students.
They will be monitored, evaluated, and receive feedback, just as they would in a "real" job.

What is JA Work$?

 

Students will be exposed to Junior Achievement's workforce preparation programs and workforce preparation activities. 
 
The high school students will be trained and will teach Junior Achievement classes to elementary school students.
 
They will be monitored, evaluated, and receive feedback, just as they would in a "real" job. 

JA Work$ Students will... 

 
1. Students will participate in JA Personal Finance® and JA Career Success® 
 
2. They will have an opportunity to teach elementary age students and 
 
3. They will receive a monetary stipend at the end. 
 
Students must participate in all required classes and training to receive a stipend. 
 
JA Personal Finance® focuses on earning money; spending money wisely through budgeting; saving and investing money; using credit cautiously, and protecting one's personal finances. 
 
JA Career Success® equips students with the tools and skills required to earn and keep a job in high-growth career industries.
