JA in a Day at Duval Charter School Westside

Details:
JA in a Day is a unique initiative that allows volunteers to teach all of the lessons of Junior Achievement's elementary school programs in a one day effort. Learn more about JA in a Day.

Volunteers needed for JA Company Program

When:
Starting immediately.

Wolfson High School

7:15 - 8:45 AM on "B" days

3:30 PM (Afterschool program)
Days are flexible for volunteer
Details:
JA Company Program is part of a blended learning approach that offers groups of students the opportunity to understand the steps involved in launching their own businesses while learning the basics of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business success.
Volunteers needed in the following areas: Business, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Management/Leadership, and Marketing. Learn more about JA Company Program.

Teach JA It's My Future at Mandarin Middle School

When:
Starting immediately. It is an A/B Day schedule; volunteer will teach every other day.
Where:
Mandarin Middle School, 5100 Hood Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257
When:
Three-Time Slots:
11:40 AM - 1:20 PM
1:20 - 2:50 PM
2:50 - 4:10 PM
Details:
In JA It's My Future, students learn about career clusters, high growth jobs, career planning and creating a personal brand. There are 6 sessions total. Learn more about JA It's My Future.

Teach Junior Achievement lessons at Daniel Academy

When:
Starting immediately and taking place on early release Wednesdays (contact us for specific dates)
Where:
Daniel Academy, 3725 Belfort Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216
Time:
2:30 - 3:30 PM
Details:
Two classes available. Teach JA Our Families and JA Our City to students. It is a one-hour commitment every other week for 5 sessions.

Teach JA Personal Finance to high school students

When:
Throughout the school year
Where:
Many high schools available in Duval County
Details:
JA Personal Finance focuses on earning money; spending money wisely through budgeting; saving and investing money; using credit cautiously; and protecting one's personal finances. Learn more about JA Personal Finance.
