Details:
JA Company Program is part of a blended learning approach that offers groups of students the opportunity to understand the steps involved in launching their own businesses while learning the basics of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business success.
Volunteers needed in the following areas: Business, Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Management/Leadership, and Marketing. Learn more about JA Company Program.

JA in a Day at Gregory Drive Elementary

Reverse Job Shadow at PACE Center for Girls Jax

(JA Girl$ Volunteer Opportunity)

Tuesday, November 28, 2017

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Details:
9th - 11th grade. In partnership with our JA Girl$ program. Traditional job shadows bring students to the workplace. JA's Reverse Job Shadow brings the workplace to students! As a volunteer you are given a table to set up your display: signs, posters, brochures, products – anything you wish to bring. Dress as you would for a work day – don't hold back! Students visit each station on a rotational basis, asking questions and learning about the different types of careers presented. Learn more about Reverse Job Shadow.

JA Girl$ Lunch and Learn

For three weeks, one day a week, beginning October 12.

Details:
The setting is a small group, business meeting-style. Facilitate discussions about careers, entrepreneurship and/or financial literacy with young ladies at Young Women's Leadership Academy. Learn more about JA Girl$.

Teach JA It's My Future at Mandarin Middle School

When:
Starting immediately. It is an A/B Day schedule; volunteer will teach every other day.

1:20 - 2:50 PM

Details:

Teach Junior Achievement lessons at Daniel Academy

Starting immediately and taking place on early release Wednesdays (contact us for specific dates)

2:30 - 3:30 PM
Details:
Two classes available. Teach JA Our Families and JA Our City to students. It is a one-hour commitment every other week for 5 sessions.

Details:
Teach JA Career Success to Mandarin High AVID students (Advancement Via Individual Determination). JA Career Success equips students with the knowledge required to get and keep a job in high-growth industries. Students will explore the crucial workplace skills employers seek but often find lacking in young employees. Students also will learn about valuable tools to find that perfect job, including resumes, cover letters, and interviewing techniques. Learn more about JA Career Success.
